Neon signs were originally introduced in the 30s, and since then they have been a staple in business signage. Their high ROI, ease of installation, and affordable price make them ideal for promoting all types of businesses.
If you’re still not convinced, then you might want to check the following reasons why neon signs are ideal for your business:
If you want your business to be more visible, then using business neon signs is ideal. It’s simply because the colored brightness they give off is lovely to look at and easily visible regardless of the weather condition.
Furthermore, because our eyes are naturally attracted to light, neon signs can stand out at any time of the day. If your business operates for longer hours, or you just want to get more attention from passersby, installing neon signs can be a great way to entice customers to your establishment.
Although you can use other sources of lighting, neon signs are brighter, more colorful and artistic, while being just as energy efficient. Light-emitting diodes are suggested as energy-efficient alternatives to neon tubes, but the comparisons, which often claim a 90 percent energy savings for LED, often fail to take into account the amount of light output. A foot of red neon tube that burns for 12 hours per day will consume from 15.33 to 17.52-kilowatt hours of electricity per year. When comparing the efficiency of brightness, the power consumption of neon can not be beat.
Branding is crucial for all kinds of business establishments. Aside from making your establishment more noticeable, neon signs are also a fairly cheap means of branding. For instance, many entertainment centers use neon signs. Since they are cost-effective, these businesses can retain their branding without spending a lot of their marketing budget.
Moreover, since they are fully customizable, you have the liberty of personalizing them based on your branding. This is yet another great means of standing out, especially if your signage is in line with your brand’s vision.
Even though the upfront costs of installing neon signs can be expensive, they’re actually more cost-effective in the long run. Instead of having filaments to operate, this kind of light uses neon electrodes instead, allowing them to last even longer than fluorescent lights. Since neon electrodes use less energy than filament, you’ll be able to enjoy massive energy savings.
Although their main purpose is to give good lighting outside at night, neon signs can also be placed inside of your establishment. These signs are also built to last decades, so you won’t have to worry about any replacements any time soon.
You also don’t need to worry about installing them inside your establishment. They’re generally safer than other lighting sources, and they won’t even suffer any damage from power outages and surges.
One of the best ways that business neon signs can help enhance your business is by making your brand more memorable. Neon signs easily catch your customers' attention, and depending on how yours are designed, can easily making lasting impressions.
If that happens, you can easily boost your business, and your neon signs could even become iconic. Your customers will remember how good your product or service is when they see your neon signs. Meanwhile, passersby will be curious as to what your business offers, prompting them to check out your products and/or services.
Not many establishments use neon lights nowadays, which makes it easier for you to use them as a distinguishing factor against other brands.
Furthermore, almost everything nowadays is all about social media, so neon light signs will have the added benefit of making your establishment look picture-ready. This can significantly increase your online presence, especially since classic trends and aesthetics are trendy nowadays.
Neon signs have also been widely utilized as an advertising strategy since they work perfectly in capturing customers' attention. They can signal your customers that your establishment is open for business or you have an ongoing promotion.
Lastly, installing neon signs inside or outside your establishment can make a plain and boring space fancier and more stylish. And it’s for the simple reason that they’re simply beautiful to look at. Besides, they also add a hint of creativity to a given space.
Additionally, neon lights provide that retro and chill ambiance. This can help you achieve a relaxing environment without necessarily spending a lot of money on renovation and new furniture pieces.
If you’re trying to find something that can make your business more appealing, then you’d want to consider neon signs. You can go for a bar neon sign based on what you want for your business's visuals or budget. Anything goes!

There are many available ways to decorate your home bar. Going through home magazines and Pinterest, you can find ideas ranging from casual sports bars to high-class wet bars with marble counters and all the works. So why a pool hall?
The short answer to this question is that pool halls are super cool. Seriously, when was the last time you watched an action movie where the main character fights the villain in a Tiki bar? No, the confrontations always happen in a dark pool hall with a shady bartender.
On a more serious note, a pool hall vibe gives your home bar a cool laid back air reminiscent of a previous era. It can transform the space from just an ordinary home bar into a cool space straight out of the 1960s. The additional recreational benefits that can be gotten from the pool table are also an extra advantage.
Giving your home bar a pool hall vibe is no simple task, but with a little time, elbow grease, and a DIY spirit, we are sure you can get it done. Let’s go through some design tips on how you can get it done:
The pool table is the central figure of the pool hall, so getting the right one is very important. Many types of pool tables are available with various options ranging from size to material to choose from. If you are new to pool, you can follow this guide on how to get the best pool table.
Put off by the steep price of pool tables? Yeah, we were too at first. But don't worry, many online stores and thrift stores offer quality second-hand pool tables. If anyone asks, just tell them you're going for an authentic vintage feel!
Lighting is arguably the most important element when creating the vibe. Pool halls are usually lit up to focus only on the billiards table with the rest of the room being in the shadows. To recreate this effect, you can use special dimmable lights that hang from the ceiling to create those zones of lights and shadows.
Dimmable lights are important because you want your pool hall to be dark enough to preserve that aura but also bright enough to play pool.
Technically, these too are part of the lighting. Neon accents can be the difference-maker when creating the vibe. The neon accents will be the only other light source apart from the overhead lights. You can use neon glass tubing to create these accents.
These lights can be attached to door frames, railings, walls, bar cabinets, and even the underside of the pool table to get a sort of cool glow going. If you can get different color lights, that is even better. You can adjust the lighting according to the mood.
A great neon sign can be the clincher that ties the whole room together. You can go with a stock billiards neon bar sign or customize the neon sign to be whatever you want it to be. It can be the logo of your favorite rock band, sports team, or even the name of your bar(you're going to name it, aren't you?).
When you get your neon sign, make sure you mount it somewhere where it's highly visible. Behind the bartender or on a bare wall facing the table are good locations.
I know this might be a little too retro in 2021 with Alexa, Siri, and all the new tech available. But hey, the bar is a place to let your feet down and relax. With a low tech fixture like a jukebox, you can carve out space for yourself free from all that technology so you can just lay back and chill.
Finally, for the last design tip, go crazy. There is no set template for designing a bar. You can come up with your ideas and additions to make space your own.
You can spice up your kitchen, basement, or even bars and restaurants with so many 50’s style neon signs, neon clocks, and neon sculptures. The chic, bright, neon signs will light up the evenings and wow your guests. The best thing is the endless placement options. With neon signs, you can revive the retro feels and celebrate the ‘50s style.

Another diner neon sign that is nothing less than a show-stopping piece is a vintage style “Eat Here” sign cut in an arrow shape. What makes it even more fascinating is that the words are embossed on tin metal. Even if you are not hungry, this retro neon sign will make your diner feel authentic.
You can place it in your basement bar, the spot near your grill, or even the casual eat-in kitchen. You can never go wrong with this classic neon sign. The pooping colors, the vintage vibe, and the great weathered look make this neon sign a perfect fit for diners, homes, man caves, restaurants, and bars.

You can also use a classic red and blue neon open sign for the next party at your home. If you are throwing a café-themed party, you can place an open neon sign at the entrance door or a wall to welcome the guests.
If you are love antiques and classic vibes, neon signs are the best way to reflect your love of all things vintage. Going one step further, you can complete your classic 50’s style theme with chic and catchy retro diner neon signs. If retro isn't your vibe, that's OK. ]]>While neon lights do not have the same effect as those light boxes, bright colorful neon signs can provide a much needed mood boost during those dark days. Did you know that scientists have conducted studies to see how humans react to certain colors? For instance, blue lights can make us feel more energetic. The study that was conducted showed that participants were more productive and able to complete cognitive tasks more quickly than the control group. However, it was noted that blue lights would not be conducive to sleep. Blue light (not just from your neon lights, but also your smartphones) can suppress the bodies’ production of the hormone melatonin. Melatonin is the hormone which makes sleep possible.
The color red however, has been proven to help improve mental health in the evening. The red hue causes our body to increase the secretion of melatonin, helping us sleep better. And we all know that the better we sleep at night, the better we feel in the morning, thus helping our mental well-being. A strategically placed custom neon sign can provide a little relief to those trying to get some much-needed shut eye.
Whether you’re a lover of vintage, wanting to decorate your home bar or man cave, or just wanting a mood boost, custom neon signs can be a great option for decorating your space.

You can have these magic words turn into a custom neon sign for your bedroom wall, or your favorite corner of the room.
While it is natural to get inspired by people around you and idolize them, loving yourself is equally important. You can write your own story, and be the hero. Why follow the path lead by others and not paving the way for yourself on your own? If you are someone who has faith and courage to live a life guided by their own rules, this custom neon sign is for you. You can make a bold statement with this powerful quote lighting up your wall.
This phrase sums up how one should spend time in this world; the message is clear and straight. Not only will this custom neon enhance your room décor, but it will also subtly convey your message. You don’t have to be a philosopher to understand this simple rule. Don’t interfere in anyone's life, nor let others invade your personal space. Again, you can experiment with the lettering style, size, and the lighting effect to create your own neon sign.
Life is too short to spend on whining and complaining. If you are one those who live every moment to the fullest, then this neon sign is for you. You may not be having the best of days, but you can beat the odds with a gleaming smile and an electrifying party. Those “glowing slices” surely look tempting and make you crave for a pizza date. It does not matter what is happening in your life, pizza “stands by” you; pizza doesn’t ditch. Why not express your love for pizza and food with “Pizza don’t Ditch” neon motto in your room or kitchen?
You may express yourself with signs as well rather than quotes or phrases. A pair of hearts, a small glittery diamond, a winking eye, a bird, or a victory symbol, you can create many neon signs. Red lips for a chic look, or a cloud for a subtle and soothing effect, the choice is all yours. Using your creativity, you can create your own personalized neon sign for any corner or wall of your home or office.
Over the years, we have seen neon signs become a popular choice for wall décor in homes and apartments too. While there are business neon signs and bar neon signs, you can have a customized neon sign for any purpose. Not only you can use a neon sign to enhance the décor, but it can also serve as a form of self-expression.

Comic books in general have been around for longer than the superhero comics we’ve come to know and love. The first comic as a print medium in American was in 1842 covering The Adventures of Mr. Obadiah Oldbuck and was only available in hardcover. Superhero comic books rose to popularity in the 1930’s and were incredibly popular through the 1940’s. The first ever Superman comic was released in 1938 by Detective Comics (DC) and it was through the popularity of Superman’s comics that the popularity of superhero comics would continue to grow. Not long after Superman’s series began, Marvel Comics released their first ever comic in 1939.
“I’m here to fight for the truth, and justice, and the American way.” - Superman

Not only pizzerias, but other eateries have also taken down the old boards from their window shops. Now, pizza neon signs are flickering on the streets, eateries, and even offices and homes. Imagine sitting around a fireplace with friends and enjoying pizza. Is there a better way to celebrate the arrival of fall and pizza month?
Americans love pizza. In fact, it wouldn't be wrong to say that Americans are a "pizza-loving" nation. We have "pizzas" to back our statement. Don't get confused. We are talking about pizzerias. It is estimated that there are over 63,000 pizzerias in the United States.
Also, 94% of Americans enjoy pizza at least once a month. These figures suggest that Americans devour 100 acres of pizza every day. Fun fact: Every second, 350 hot slices satisfy the cravings of pizza lovers in the US. Hopefully, you do not doubt the love Americans have for pizza now.
Many people attribute the arrival of pizza in the US to the first pizzerias in the country. However, the actual credit goes to the American soldiers who served in Italy during World War II. When they came back to the country, they brought home a "craving" for pizza, making it famous all over. The love for pizza has been growing ever since, and October is officially celebrated as the National Pizza Month. Let’s get back to the celebrations.
Pizza month calls for some crispy and hot pizza parties with a “topping” of some “cheesy” décor ideas. Nothing sets the tone better for the Pizza month than glowing pizza neon signs and slices. Whether you are at home, office, a bar, or a pizzeria, those flickering neon signs are a must for celebrating pizza month.
Celebrations are incomplete without having your friends around. Call them over and let the celebrations begin with a chicken pizza party. You don’t have to worry much as you can easily get custom neon signs for your party. One glittery pizzaiolo (a person who makes pizza) neon sign with some sparkling pizza slices in hands might be the only décor you need.
Working in the office can be quite boring when there is so much happening outside. But who said you have to celebrate pizza month in a pizzeria only and not your workplace? Turn your office's cafeteria into the perfect party place for pizza month celebration. From small slices to large sparkling pizza neon signs – little additions to the eating space can create the perfect ambiance.
If you are not meant to have pizza at midnight, you can at least have a pizza neon sign by your side. The kitchen is an ideal spot, but who likes to go to the kitchen at midnight? You can have a small pizza neon sign placed in your room for a visual treat at night. However, it may tempt you to order a pizza in the late hours. But since it's month, you can afford to satisfy your midnight cravings with a pizza slice.
There are so many reasons to love pizza. "Pizza feeds you; pizza makes you happy, pizza stands by you," and most importantly, "pizza doesn't ditch." So, why not celebrate the pizza month with all your heart? Set up a pizza date for your partner and maybe propose him/her over a pizza under a glowing pizza neon sign. After all, it's pizza month, and there is no harm in being a little cheesy.
However, before executing this plan, make sure that your partner shares the same love for pizza as you do. Otherwise, the night may get darker for you even when the neon signs keep glowing.

Neon was discovered by William Ramsay (Scottish) and Morris Travers (English) in 1898, a short while after their discovery of krypton. A frozen argon sample, along with liquefied air, slowly evaporated in a low-pressure environment for the first production of neon gas. To observe the spectrum, the scientists ran a high-voltage current through a sealed tube containing the gas. This step resulted in the emission of a brilliant glow. It is from this observation that neon got its name, which in Latin means 'new.' In its natural state, the gas is colorless and has an atomic number of 10.
When Georges Claude came up with the idea of neon lighting at the beginning of the 20th century, he brought about the idea of producing the gas via air liquefaction. At the time of discovery, the current passed through a sealed tube containing the noble gas initiated a chain reaction that culminated in the emission of a reddish-orange light. After an initial display of the neon lamp in 1910, further advancements saw the production of neon discharge tubes for public use in the years that followed.
The earth's atmosphere contains only 0.0018 percent neon, making it a rare gas. In the universe, however, the gas ranks fifth in the most abundant elements. By composition, the universe is one part per 750. The only method of producing neon is by the liquefaction of air. A rarity in the atmosphere makes neon an expensive gas in terms of production expenses, costing approximately 55 times more than liquid helium. Despite its rarity and high production costs, the average American home has an estimated 10 liters of neon. Production of neon in the stars is through the alpha process.
The first commercially-made neon signs by Claude Neon, Georges Claude’s company, were two pieces for a car dealership in Los Angeles, Packard. The pair went on sale in 1923, for an impressive sum of $24,000, purchased by Earle C. Anthony. In the years that followed, the popularity of outdoor neon signs significantly increased. Dubbed 'liquid fire,' the fixtures were a source of fascination for many people, who would stop and admire the new advertising tool. Since that first sale, the price of neon signs has significantly gone down, making it an affordable option for businesses worldwide.
Weather phenomena, including rain and fog cause reduced visibility. In such conditions, conventional non-lit signs remain invisible, unless from close range or with the help of a separate electric lighting setup. Neon signs, on the other hand, cut through the fog with ease. It is this unique capability that sees them come into use in airports to ensure aircraft safety. This quality also means that neon signs or lights quickly light dark areas in poorly lit neighborhoods. The ability to shine through such weather brings out a different application for neon lights.
We live in an increasingly mechanized world. The use of smart technology and automation has, over the years, seen the manufacturing industry significantly morph. However, the production of neon signs is one process that remains purely hands-on, regardless of the current technological advancements.
It takes a skilled pair of hands and a keen eye for detail to mold glass tubes into the colorful signs we see every day. There are many shapes and colors possible, but the production process remains the same for all. Glass is brittle by nature, and it takes an experienced hand to bend it and achieve the desired shape with minimal losses.
There are almost 200 different colors applicable to a neon light. Such an impressive variety makes it easy to bring to life all manner of designs and spectrums for your business advertising. Colorful templates often prove a design challenge with a limited spectrum, but with many colors to choose from, even the most diverse ranges can come to life. Further customization capabilities in the form of variable shapes and sizes, so color caps off an excellent recipe.
Neon signs have a fascinating history and have remained a mainstay in today's advertising scene. The malleability of hot glass makes it possible to create any desired shape, accompanied by suitable colors to complete an affordable, yet effective advertising and marketing tool.

Neon signs are created using Neon (Ne), which is a gas, and other similar gases. Neon gas was first discovered by a Scottish chemist named Sir William Ramsay and his colleague Morris W. Travers in 1898. Neon was not Sir Ramsay’s first discovery. In 1894, Sir Ramsay and Lord Rayleigh discovered argon gas. And in 1895, Sir Ramsay encountered the first sample of helium. Sir Ramsay knew without a doubt that there was an element somewhere between helium and argon that was missing. After many instances of trial and error, Sir Ramsay and Morris Travers decided to freeze a sample of argon with liquid air. When the sample started emitting a gas, they collected that gas in a glass vacuum tube. Once the gas was trapped, they began running tests to learn the spectrum of the gas sample. One of the tests included applying a high voltage of electricity to the glass tube, which resulted in the discovery of neon gas and the creation of neon lights.
It would only be a few short years later that neon lights would make a show stopping appearance throughout France and Europe, with America not far behind.
While it was not he who discovered them, it was French Engineer George Claude who had introduced France, and the world, to the first ever neon lights. During the Paris Motor Show in 1910, George Claude had adorned a building with 40-ft tall vacuum tubes filled with the red-orange glow of neon, dazzling the city of Paris. After making their debut at the Paris Motor Show in 1910, it would be only two more years until businesses began using neon lights to advertise their establishments, with a Parisian barbershop leading the charge.
So, when did neon lights make it to the United States? Earle C. Anthony of Packard Motors commissioned two neon signs in blue and orange for showrooms in Los Angeles and San Francisco from France. Americans were so enthralled with the giant glowing lights it caused a disruption to the flow of traffic. By the mid-1900’s, neon signs began to take off in the U.S.
Neon gas (Ne) fills a vacuum tube which has electrodes on both ends. The electrical current (about 15,000 volts) flows through the vacuum tube and ionizes the atoms of the gas. This process allows electrons to escape the atoms, creating “free” electrons. Once the electrons become neutral, the color becomes visible, giving us that bright red-orange glow we’ve come to know so well. The same process applies to the other gases used in neon signs as well.
The glass tubes used for neon lights typically come in either four or five foot tubes with varying diameters. The glass tube contains a phosphorus powder and the gas. Attached to both ends of the tube are the electrodes where the electricity will be conducted. The glass tubes can be bent to any shape. Many tube benders use patterns to ensure the highest quality designs. They are typically made in parts and then welded together at the end before being filled with the appropriate gas based on the intended color.
Yes and no. Contrary to the name “neon signs”, neon gas is only used in some colors. Various other gases are used to create different colors for neon signs. Another common gas used in neon signs is argon. Argon gives off a weaker light and emits a shade of blue. Often, a small bit of mercury is added to make the light a bit stronger. While helium is rarer, it can be used to create pink-red lights. Another element/gas that can be used for neon signs is xenon. Xenon gives off a shade of lavender/light purple. The primary place you’ll see xenon isn’t in neon lights, but rather, you’ll have likely seen it in strobe lights and flash photography. While krypton is used for more than just neon signs, it provides easy color manipulation due to the color it emits. This element emits a white-yellow glow and when paired with a vacuum tube with colored glass, it is the color of the glass that will glow.
While neon, argon, helium, xenon and krypton can all be used to create those big, colorful signs, the two primary sources of gas used in neon signs are neon and argon. Since argon produces a weaker light, it can be used to create a yellow, white and green in addition to the natural blue it emits. Color manipulation can also be achieved by pairing the gas with a colored vacuum tube. For instance, with argon releasing a shade of blue, if we were to fill a yellow vacuum tube with argon, the resulting color would be green.

While you can electrify the walls of your home with some stunning neon signs, the glowing neon décor works well for outer space too. A small neon sign can make your room a funky place with a personalized touch. If you love the glitzy neon signs and clocks, you can have more than one wall decorated with a sign of your choice.
Kitchen is the favorite place in a house for an obvious reason, i.e., food. Cooking is therapeutic for many and brings joy and happiness. However, what to cook each day is a challenge. Perhaps, it is one of the most asked questions in every American household. While you’re decorating the different parts of your home, you can’t miss out this important space. Create a neon sign with the saying “What’s cooking” to hang on the wall above the cooking range. Choose a made in the USA neon sign made of high-quality neon glass for better visibility.
While you may find neon wall décor in different shapes, colors, and sizes, nothing can beat the look of a nostalgic neon clock. If you haven’t got your hands on one, you definitely need to up your game. That beast will add an electrifying look to your gaming area or your biker bar. While you may have customized Harley Davidson neon clock, H-D neon with orange neon glow will make every biker fall in love with it at first sight.
Neon signs are some of the most attractive branding tools for businesses. You will see neon signage in different advertising and promotional campaigns. While many of the buzzing streets are lit with neon signs, you may have safety concerns while putting up one in your room. Don’t worry as neon signs and clocks are safe to touch. Even if the lighting gets damaged, there is no risk of electrocution as the electric charge is automatically shut down with modern UL listed power supplies.

Have you walked through any shops specializing in Halloween? If you have, you’ve probably seen those creepy motion sensor dolls that look like toddlers covered in blood, wearing creepy clothes. Or how about a giant spider that jumps out at you (also on a motion sensor)?! And the porches decorated like a scene from the movie Saw with bloody handprints and fake limbs littering the entryway!
With each of those examples, neon lights could really add to the spooky atmosphere. Think coffins made from neon lights to accompany the creepy dolls or a vampire. Why not add a custom neon sign designed to look like a spider web to the opposite corner from where your motion sensor spider hides? Imagine your unsuspecting victim walking up thinking any spiders you may have strategically placed would be near the web and then BAM! Out from the other side pops your giant spider! We can’t leave out the creepy but classic “Beware” neon sign that would be the perfect finishing touch to a Saw style room or porch.
Many families with small children trick-or-treat door to door on Halloween. So, maybe you’re taking that into consideration and are opting for something not so spooky this year. There are many simple, yet modern neon signs out there that are a perfect blend of Halloween and kid friendly to decorate your home with from cute little ghosts to witches’ hats and bats. And we can’t forget those cute little pumpkins! You could also opt for signs that display sayings such as “Happy Halloween” and/or “Trick or Treat”. Not quite what you’re looking for? Why not opt for a custom piece with your own design or favorite saying? Picture a witch’s cauldron with the saying “A witch and her two goblins live here”.
Oh, the possibilities!!! Let’s start with an “Enter if you dare” neon sign. Then they can’t say they weren’t warned! The term “Freak Show” brings to mind the season of American Horror Story, but perhaps you have a freak show themed area of your haunted house. Picture the backdrop of your freak show room with a red glowing neon sign reading “Freak Show”. There’s always the traditional motel no vacancy signs to add to a Bates Motel theme or a “Palm Reader” sign to add to a psychic themed room. Hollywood likes to add in a psychic/palm reader to a lot of the older horror movies after all. And no haunted house would be complete without potion bottles, a witch’s cauldron, a couple of skulls and a coffin.
Let’s not forget to piggyback on the ones we just talked about under the spooky decorator. Glowing coffins and cobwebs with spiders could make great custom neon signs and would add to the scare factor for any haunted house.
The location of your neon sign matters a lot and could determine just how effective it is in influencing people to walk in and have a look. The distance has to be just right. Put up your neon open sign a reasonable distance from your store entrance. Right after seeing the beauty of the blinking lights, a passerby immediately tries to locate your front door. Avoid long distances between the open sign and the store entrance as a tedious search subsequently results in a loss of interest and the loss of potential customers.
Avoid crowded locations. Crowding leads to ambiguity, and the prospective customer has a hard time trying to identify your store if the neon sign sits between a multitude of others. Always go for a spacious, clearly visible location, one that makes it easy even for a stranger to locate your premises right after seeing the sign.
Avoid barriers. Your neon sign is no good if the people you want to attract can't see it. The principal idea of advertising is to display business names and brands in a visible and captivating manner. Take time and survey the area, mapping the angles to identify the best possible location for your business neon sign. Roadsides are simple, with a double-sided sign at the storefront on the side of the road in your parking lot working to perfection.
For all their beauty and glamor, business neon signs are a delicate advertising tool. Don’t set up your side too low in crowded areas, or in a location that might see it damaged by projectiles. Erect your sign high enough to keep it safe from physical damage, but low enough for visibility with minimal strain.
Custom neon signs bring out the personality of your business, using colors and shape to introduce your products and services to every pedestrian or motorist. A shoddy design and a poor choice of colors will cost you business.
As a business owner, you understand best the impression you want your advertising media to make to prospective customers. One option is to personally come up with a design that accurately represents your business or brand; if possible, with your company colors. Create several templates for your neon sign designs and pick the best one. However, if you lack the skills to design a custom sign that genuinely stands out, engage a professional designer for cutting-edge artwork and color schemes.
For your design, avoid the temptation to include too much detail or wording. Typically, neon signs use names and shapes such as arrows to capture the attention of a passerby. Go for a shape that suits your location, with vertical lettering ideal for narrow streets. It is advisable to go for the clean, simple, and elegant design that catches the eye at first glance. Bar signs, for instance, may include the name of the bar with blinking mugs of beer and an arrow pointing to the entrance — simple, effective.
Signs go up and stay on location for up to a decade or more. During that period, exposure to the elements takes its toll. In open areas, the wind blows continuously, so your neon sign needs a stable frame to withstand the turning effect of the wind. Raining also floods the curbs and embankments, and anything that isn't firm may wash off or fall. For signs mounted on a metal frame, ensure that the base is stable and goes well underground for sufficient stability.
A lack of stability causes your sign to sway in the wind or stand awkwardly. If unchecked, your sign eventually falls and suffers significant damage. Neon tubes are delicate and demand a specific level of care. Unstable signs also give the wrong impression on both your existing and prospective customers. Such an image indicates age and unprofessionalism.
Observing the above guidelines helps you get a good neon sign and directs you on the best places to set up. Get a proper design, with a harmony of colors and shapes that accurately represents your business. Avoid overly elaborate designs that may see some of the elements lost in the details. For the components, observe the size, such that your sign template displays everything well. Have a decent idea on what you want the passerby to see; a stable lit display, a blinking one, or both in alternation.
]]>Business owners consider all possible avenues when carving their niche in a competitive global market. For an idea to warrant consideration, the benefits have to be clear, with the tool in question offering a means of announcing you to the public and capturing the attention of each individual in the vicinity. So why get a custom neon sign? Here’s why.
Bright lights effortlessly catch the eye. For new businesses, in particular, you will need to announce your presence and stand out from the competition. Even without darkness, the signs still display your business name in a bright palette, capturing the attention of pedestrians, motorists, and cyclists near your store. With a brilliant display, your business stands out. Neon signs ensure visibility, even in crowded locations.
A selection of businesses operate day and night. Conventional signs don't offer much in terms of advertising potential once its dark. Neon signs, however, keep potential customers aware of your establishment even at night. Hospitals, hotels, bars, casinos, motels, and pharmacies are some of the businesses that benefit the most from neon sign advertising. Bar neon signs, in particular, are seen as a classic advertising tool when the sun sets.
In business advertising, impressions matter, and what people see at your storefront remains essential. Individuals and franchises, therefore, take time to come up with captivating designs for maximum effect when attracting traffic to various store locations. Some individuals choose online design platforms to come up with multiple templates, with different shapes, colors, and sizes. If you lack the skill set necessary for a design that stands out, consider employing the services of a professional designer.
Neon signs don’t have a filament, meaning that the signs cost little to purchase and maintain. The engineering in the signs involves electrodes and a setup that ensures that your signs typically outlasts the standard light bulb. The judicious use of electricity means that 90-watt sign costs 20 cents a day to operate, running for 24 hours. Advertising is at times a costly but necessary business component, and thankfully this economical option won’t inflate your bills.
Due to their size, color, and bright lights, neon signs are visible from long distances. When it gets dark, for instance, your sign attracts the attention of customers from an even more extensive range as our eyes quickly notice bright lights. Position your sign well for maximum effect. Avoid barriers such as buildings and other signs that may interfere with visibility. Also, check the height and avoid setting it too high or too low. With proper positioning, neon signs attract the attention of potential customers over considerable distances
With appropriate maintenance, well-built neon signs serve for a lifetime. Considering the little expense in terms of electricity consumption and general maintenance, that's one sweet advertising deal. Painted signs generally fade over time due to exposure to the elements, while offering close to no advertising value in the dark. Neon signs, on the other hand, cost very little to power and maintain and provide a decade or more of round-the-clock advertising. Traditional light signs are at times known to experience problems in six months.
Business neon signs offer long-terms advertising solutions at an affordable cost. Considering their effectiveness after dark, this added advantage makes them a standout option for many 24-hour businesses. Firms and individuals generally go for tailor-made options that effectively represent your business or brand and draw focus to your store brand, and neon signs offer custom designs to address that concern effectively.
The visibility and 24-hour functionality of neon signs are big selling points for this advertising tool. For most businesses, light signs offer a viable option. However, some light signs such as LED begin failing in as little as six months and are, therefore, not a reliable long-term advertising tool. If you want your signs to last long and attract customers even at night, neon signs are the way to go.
Before you set up your sign, take time, and do some research on your location. Get to know the most suitable position and height, somewhere it's easily visible by pedestrians and motorists alike. Get the proper size and light color, making it easy to spot without much effort. When in doubt, consult your designer, get several templates and choose the best.

Perhaps one of the reasons that the neon sign became such a fixture of American society has to do with the circumstances of its arrival to the states. It was at the start of the roaring twenties when it seems the culture by large was ready for a brighter and livelier way of life that warmly welcomed the new mode of display that many at the time referred to as “liquid fire.”
In 1923, Earle C. Anthony bought America’s first neon sign for the Packard car dealership in California. Anthony was both a philanthropist and a businessman at the forefront of automobiles, gas service stations, radio stations, and television networks. It only seems appropriate that a man that helped to establish such mainstays of the American experience was also the one to fist advertise with the extremely effective medium of custom neon signs.
From there, neon and the magic that existed within its artfully curved glass tubes continued to grow in use and value to the American way of life. It started and continued in the realm of advertisement of goods and services, which connected to the main idea of the American culture: that of course being the free market.
Making money wasn’t the only thing that neon had in common with the American mindset, though. America never had fancied itself as a quiet or subtle people, and even at its start, neon seemed to be ready for the bold, sonorous lifestyle that the American public lived. The dazzling light and its warm optimistic glow seemed to be right in step with the lively nation.
It didn’t take long for neon signs to become commonplace in America’s big cities and small towns alike. And even though neon is still going strong in service to big and small businesses today, it has also become a beloved classic in the hearts of Americans.
Neon evokes feelings of nostalgia for many, and is used to achieve a vintage feel for businesses and individuals. For this reason and for the wow factor that it still provides successfully to this day, neon has become synonymous with the fun and excitement of Las Vegas, which is seen as an American jewel to the nation itself and the rest of the world.
In the almost one hundred years that neon has been in the American culture, it has also found itself right at home in another one of America’s hallmarks: its music. From country to hip-hop, musicians have found something inspiring in the glowing designs that neon signs provide as they call their listeners to visualize them through all kinds of diverse lyrics.
Part of that does have to do with the tradition of neon that is connected with good times had at local bars, which speaks even more to how neon has helped to shape American culture. Just like English and Irish pubs have their trademark stone and wooden designs that speak to their ancient history and makes them iconic in their own culture, the neon bar sign is no doubt a tenant feature in the now classic American pub. Neon has long been and will continue to be something that Americans can lift their glasses to with pride.
Neon is not only an important part of America’s past culture, nor is it only about its capitalistic enterprises. More recently, neon has been seen in the outworking of perhaps the most important part of the American spirit: the artistic and personal expression of America’s individuals.
Something that has been in the DNA of America from the beginning is the sense of independence that her individuals have, as well as the use of that individuality to make a better life for the whole. Custom neon signs have started to appear in people’s homes in ways that make visible the diverse and unique spirit of the nation, one person at a time.
Neon is a colorful, spirited medium that people in the past and present have latched onto as a way to communicate who they are. In doing so, they have continued a story of the American culture that is just as bright, vibrant, and colorful as the light within a classic neon sign.
Research has shown the power that color has on our emotions. While science is still figuring out how exactly this works, it’s no secret that it does. Even the ancient Egyptians knew it, and used different colors in their therapeutic practices.
So if you’re looking to add joy to your home, then color is what you want. And nothing does color better than neon. With neon signs, you can enjoy your favorite colors on another dimension. The specific colors you choose are not stuck to the wall or a canvas, but instead leap off of it to interact with you and the rest of the room.
At its simplest, this means that you can chose colors that have the psychological effect of increasing happiness and boosting lively moods. For instance, splashes of warm colors in the right places can do this. Maybe your home could use some yellow in the kitchen to brighten up your gathering space, or soft orange in a game room to add to the fun. Neon can add happy colors to any environment that you need.
However, happiness isn’t the only part of joy. Neon signs can produce other colors to engage your emotions in different ways. You can also recharge by relaxing and reading under a soft blue or lavender neon light in your favorite quiet corner of your home.
It’s not just about the right colors, but the right colors for your needs. It’s important to ask yourself what it is that you want and where in your home you need it. When you know that, neon is there to make it happen.
Another important thing that directly affects joy is light. Levels and timing of light impact people on a biological and psychological level. The common phenomenon of seasonal affective disorder (SAD) shows that darkness and light exposure really matter. With out proper amounts of light, people feel depressed and unenergetic.
So light is a key component of happiness and another way that strategic neon signs in your home can help to bring joy. While it’s obvious that darkness can contribute to depression, inversely, research has also shown that exposure to light, both natural and artificial, elevates mood.
Neon is perfect in this not only because it is light, but also because of the special effect that neon light in all of its different colors can have on people. It can be inspiring if you feel like finding joy through creating or being productive, calming if it’s been a particularly hectic day, and enveloping so as to remind you that you are back at your home sweet home.
So when you’re searching out the parts of your home that need a little bit of brightening up, remember that a neon sign could be the uniquely perfect way to do it.
Color and light speak to the great direct effects that the right neon signs can have on the joy within your home, but it doesn’t stop there. With custom neon sign options, it can also be extremely helpful in showing the spirit of your home.
If you have a motto, favorite movie quote, or song lyric that is important to you, it can be written in light to shine in your home and uplift you when you need it.
Since the glass tubes of neon can be formed into almost any shape, you can create whatever you want; whether that’s mountains, your city’s skyline, your name, flowers, a unicorn, or even clowns if you’re into that kind of thing... you do you. Simply, if you like something and it makes you joyful, you can probably display it with vibrant, colorful neon light wherever you want in your home.
Using neon can add joy to your home by making your personality visual, giving your space a touch of originality, and achieving for you a feeling of accomplishment.
In short, life out in the world has enough unhappiness. Home should be a place that meets you with joy at the end of the day. So take some time; figure out what makes you joyful, what colors you like, and where your home needs some light. Then remember that neon signs are there to make it happen and to bring the joy.
A sports bar without neon signs is like an ice cream without a topping: it just doesn’t feel complete.
Anyone can buy furniture and throw them around the family room, but consulting an interior designer is a step that many sports fans can be relied on to overlook. Keeping with a theme is the key to a solid sports bar.
There are a lot of popular design themes. Today, we’re going to cover four of the most popular themes you can use to turn your family room into a sports bar using neon signs.
These themes are Modern, Minimalist, Mid-Century Modern, and Shabby Chic. We’re going to cover what all of these themes look like, and tell you how neon signs can complement your sports bar theme, and provide that extra pop that keeps your friends and family coming back for more.
The Modern style is sleek and clean with a lot of black and white and a splash of color. Everything feels glossy and smooth.
There are tons of great choices for neon signs in modern-styled sports bars.
Neon signs can reflect any sport you’re interested in. Some popular ideas include a ball and jersey, a “moving” baseball bat, or the logo of your favorite home team. If you want to go simple, we’ve seen “Texas Football” and “New York Baseball.”
For something bigger, think about likeness of your favorite sports star.
Have you ever seen a neon sign of a celebrity’s face? Think about the face of your favorite sports star looking down on your bar in neon while you watch the game.
The Minimalism style is clean, classy, and understated. There’s a lot of empty space and breathing room.
Cursive writing is an elegant, classy way to go. Since the minimalist style’s colors are neutral (think pale colors), we suggest looking into smaller, understated neon lights and shapes. These are also a great match for any sports fan. They complement the room, and give your sports fans something to look at without crowding the minimalist space.
We also recommend simple shapes, like the mustache meme, for your neon sports bar. Just because it’s a sports bar doesn’t mean you have to limit yourself to balls and bats. Think outside the box! When it comes to neon signs, the world is your oyster.
Mid-Century Modern basically means retro. Anything that feels classic, or appeals to that “old world charm” is great!
First of all, you can’t go wrong with a simple Budweiser or other beer logo. This is definitely has a classic feel that all sports bar lovers will appreciate.
And then there are the cheeky signs. Grab a Free Beer Tomorrow sign for a BYOB gathering! When they come back tomorrow, simply point to the neon sign again.
Other neon sign ideas for your Mid-Century Modern sports bar include muscle cars, Marilyn Monroe likenesses, boxing gloves, and footballs.
Finally, when it comes to classic, nothing says “retro” like a good, old fashioned neon "OPEN" sign!
“Shabby Chic” may sound strange, but you’ve probably seen this before. Shabby Chic is a style of interior design that is inspired by nature, and sometimes even natural deterioration. It looks kind of rustic, but if it looks too junky or gross, you’re probably doing it wrong!
So what kinds of neon signs should you get for your Shabby Chic sports bar?
Phrases or words in ALL CAPS are great choices, especially against a simple brick or wooden wall. Although neon signs really make a room pop, when it’s done right, it doesn’t necessarily change the “natural feel” of a Shabby Chic room.
We suggest considering themes that are similar to the Mid-Century Modern style, but simpler, grittier.
Consider putting your name up on a custom neon sign at the top of the bar. Are you going to be serving food? Have fun with it! Advertise yourself as if you were running a kitchen!
There are tons of ways to make your custom family room sports bar look totally unique and pleasant to the eye. It’s so easy to overlook how the room is organized. However, after you decide which theme you like, choosing which neon sign (or signs) to put up will really make your room a pleasure to hang out in!
“Get your Chicks on Route 66.” This slogan is on the front page of Dell Rhea’s Chicken Basket, a famous first-stop restaurant for Route 66 travelers. When you go inside, you’re walking into the same building as when it opened its doors in 1946. Dell Rhea’s has been mentioned in Route 66 documentaries, newspapers, and even the National Register of Historic Places. The sign is classic Americana, and a beauty to see in person.
The Munger Moss Motel in Lebanon, Missouri, sports a “Historic Vintage Auto Court,” an area out front where you can take a selfie next to a collection of mid-20th-century cars under one of the coolest Route 66 neon signs you’ll ever see. The neon lights are on board with jagged, Mid-Century Modern edges that look like they’re straight out of a museum – and you’ll feel like you’re smack-dab a different time.
In Miami, Oklahoma – NOT Florida – you’ll find Waylan’s Kuku Burger, one of what was once a chain of over 200 Kukus! That was in the 1960's. As you can probably guess, McDonald’s won that fight.
The burger joint sports a neon sign bearing its namesake, along with a glowing neon cuckoo clock light, a bright neon yellow bird, and a red neon ice cream cone. It’s definitely out of the ordinary, and worth stopping in on your trip.
On to Texas: The Tower Station and U-Drop Inn Cafe (that’s a mouthful), located in a town called Shamrock, was originally built almost 100 years ago, in 1936, along the original Route 66. The site is a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark and appears to have been used as inspiration for a scene in Pixars' Cars. It’s known for its distinctive architecture.
The original Tower Station and U-Drop was famous for its neon lights before it fell into disrepair. When the U-Drop became a historic site, the city restored it. Then, in 2013, a hailstorm destroyed the lighting. Unfortunately, the parts that were damaged had to be replaced with LED lighting. Although it’s still gorgeous, sadly, many people think the U-Drop just isn’t the same without the full neon lighting effect it used to have.
Albuquerque, New Mexico sports the Dog House Drive-In, featuring corn dogs, chili dogs, and Frito pies. The Dog House offers “car-hop service,” which is hard to find nowadays. In other words, the waiters and waitresses bring food to your car after you order it, which is totally awesome. But the neon sign is even better: a neon Wiener dog wagging its tail. The tail moves up and down as the lights flicker on and off. It’s eating neon wieners, which is only a little disturbing. Near the dog, the sign reads “DOG HOUSE” in green and red. If you like neon lights that make a moving picture, this is the pit stop you need to take.
Tee Pee Curios is a souvenir shop in Tucumcari, New Mexico. They sell moccasins, Indian Jewelry, rugs, and more. It features a large cement tee pee out front that you can’t miss. It features a bright green cactus neon light behind a tee pee. The neon lighting designs on the tee pee zigzag around in a design that denotes indigenous art.
In Flagstaff, Arizona, not far from the Barringer Crater, you’ll find a Route 66 restaurant called the Galaxy Diner. The building itself dates back to the 1950's, and the neon sign (and interior décor) reflect that. The shooting stars in the logo really make it stand out.
Delgadillo’s Snowcap, serving burgers, malts, and shakes, has used neon signs in combination with other lighting to create a truly alluring atmosphere! Creams and cones light up the block in bright, wiry pinks and yellows. Underneath the logo, which is back-lit in white - “SNOW CAP” - the eating area and decorated wall are back-lit by bright green and yellow light. Look for Delgadillo’s in Seligman, Arizona.
When you eventually get to the end of the line, you’ll find the Santa Monica Pier in California. What a wonderful way to end your journey! The pier is free to visit, and its main features are fully lit up with marvelous neon lighting! The Ferris wheel glows against the dark sky as it spins around at night. The rails of the roller coaster are lit up with brilliant neon lights as well. And the best part? Santa Monica Pier admission is free! Be especially sure to visit at sunrise or sunset.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this journey of neon lighting sights to see all along the old Route 66. If you want to bring a bit of retro to you home, hang a Route 66 neon sign in your family room, bar or garage. Happy trails!

Neon signs are quickly making a space for themselves in the bedrooms of people. With your favorite celebrities decorating their rooms with neon signs, why shouldn't you?
Apart from the fact that, neon signs transform our rooms by giving them that extra zing, there are other advantages of having neon signs in the bedroom.
Neon signs can be a great night light, especially if you have kids. The glow of the tubes casts enough light to fight the shadows in the corner of your child's room. Convince your kids of the monster fighting abilities of the neon signs and watch them enjoy better sleep at night.
Neon signs are relatively cheap. The neon signs used as part of the room decor are custom made neon signs. Even as a college student on a tight budget, decorating your room with a neon sign is within your budget. An average custom neon sign can cost you 25 dollars. Neon signs are great and cheap to get.
Although neon signs might not be as popular today as they were in the nineties back when every shop had one in front of it, it isn't extinct. They have still found a way to stay in our lives gifting us with their bright colors and drawing attention to the important things in our lives.
]]>Neon can also help you bring other aspects of your home bar into focus. It may be that you’ve designed your bar room as a multipurpose area where you can also enjoy some fun while you’re having your favorite drink.
For example, your bar may also be the game room where you shoot pool or play darts. It could do the area justice to get a classic looking neon sign that says “Pool Room,” or a neon image of the iconic “eight ball” to hang above the pool table. You could similarly have a sign designating the darts area as well.
Perhaps your bar also contains your home theater where you settle in with a drink to watch movies on the big screen. Movie theaters have been using neon for decades, and seeing the classic colorful arches emblazoned around the word “Cinema” or the traditional movie popcorn design in bright neon colors may be exactly what completes the feel for your movie room.
Business Neon Signs: Ho Chi Minh City
On most streets in Ho Chi Minh, the neon signs are an absolute necessity. Businesses line the streets, one after the other, as far as the eye can see. Competition is fierce; the customer is drawn in contending directions whenever he or she is out and about.
I lived in Ho Chi Minh for a year, on Le Van Sy street in district 3. To say that business neon signs are everywhere is not an exaggeration. From a customer’s perspective, they’re gorgeous to look at, and are even helpful, giving foreigners such as myself the tools to find that perfect “hole in the wall” without playing “Where’s Waldo.”
From the perspective of the Vietnamese entrepreneur, business neon signs are cheap and efficient. Money being what it is there – 500,000 Vietnam Dong is worth less than 22 USD – that is an absolute necessity. They’re also a great indicator of when the shop is open (a critical feature of nocturnal establishments).
Business Neon Signs: Pho 24/24
One of my favorite pho shops, a mom-and-pop place out in district 2, was always open. If you’re ever in Vietnam, one thing you’ll notice is that these kinds of storefronts will always have neon signs lit up. This makes them easy to pick out, even if the shop is just a food cart tucked away in an alley. Another thing you’ll notice is that their signs will say “24/24,” not “24/7,” as we’ve come to expect in the West. The first time I saw a 24/24 sign on a pho storefront, I thought the owner had made an error. But it’s everywhere.
Bar Neon Signs: Bui Vien Street
No article on Ho Chi Minh would be complete without mentioning the nightlife – and neither would an article on neon lights! As drunk tourists and locals alike stumble down the famous Bui Vien Street, they are barraged by bar signs, restaurant logos, and whirling lights. Here, intoxicating colors attract spendthrift partygoers like moths to a flame. Logos of neon tubing are often supplemented by the glow of LED strips. The careful observer may notice glowing mandalas perched on the walls as well.
If you ever find yourself on Bui Vien, look out for the Crazy Buffalo sign. It looms down on the crowd with its bright red face from several stories up. No one has walked past that sign and missed it. Everyone knows it’s there. The Crazy Buffalo sign is a testament to great advertising.
On a night out with some friends in Bui Vien, finding the atmosphere too chaotic, we went off the beaten path to collect ourselves. Meandering, chit-chatting, we nearly passed a quiet little bar nestled behind a corner. I caught a glimpse of the bar neon sign out of the corner of my eye, and we decided to go inside. It turned out to be a great dive, lively but not too crazy, with expats just relaxing at the bar top. If it hadn’t been for the sign, we would have missed it (if you’re planning to visit, it’s called TNR Sai Gon, and it’s a nice escape).
Custom Neon Signs: Religious Use (it’s not what you think!)
Here’s something crazy: religious shrines are decorated with custom neon lights. You may have seen churches with outlined crosses in the US. They have those there, too. But it gets interesting when you start noticing the Mother Mary statuettes with a glowing cerulean halo. Or when you visit a Buddhist pagoda, walking the hallowed, incense-scented halls to find a worship a room full of Buddhas with bright red neon celestial crowns! These lights look good enough on paintings and other flat surfaces, but the art form reaches a peak when you find a 20-foot-tall stone carving of a god with a neon hoop hanging behind his head. This three-dimensional approach brings religious artwork to a whole new level. It just goes to show that custom neon signs have uses that are still untapped in the United States.
There is no doubt that Vietnamese entrepreneurs understand the importance of marketing. Vendors assail the senses. Restaurants fan the thick smoke of barbecue chicken into the street; food cart vendors play recorded tracks through a megaphone, something to the translated tune of “get your fresh peanuts here!”; and, of course, business neon signs demand the pedestrian’s attention.
Vietnamese Neon Signs: Conclusion
All in all, I have to say that Vietnam knows how to use neon signs in creative and effective ways. Business neon signs help storefronts stand out in a crowded, competitive marketplace, bar neon signs grab attention and bring the customer inside, and custom neon signs apply new artistic twists on traditional religious art.
See Your Name in Lights
Like a classic theatre marquee, custom neon signs can be shaped into any words that you would like. Create one for the couple’s names, a classic “Mr. & Mrs.” style, or a lovely display of the family name. Since neon lights can be customized to any size and specifications, they can easily fit in any area to highlight a wedding altar, archway, or main wedding party table setting.
Inviting guests in to the event with a large lovely display of the couple’s name, or personalized hashtag will give everyone an exciting sight to get them in the mood to celebrate love and the connection between two people. Lots of modern start-ups are using business neon signs to create a playful buzz, and make their brand memorable, and the same goes for contemporary weddings.
Set the Perfect Photo-Op
Photos and videos are what truly lock in those special moments, which is why creating interesting backdrops and photogenic setups is such an important part of wedding planning. If guests love the setting, they will take fun playful photos, which is what will bring back memories for years to come.
Neon signs and lights can instantly set up a photo booth in any alcove, room, photo booth or area in the venue. Create a frame in lights, add fun shapes or symbols, or add some romantic text that guests would love to take photos with.
In a time where social media rules for photos and connections with others, this is also the perfect chance to create amazing looks for photos that will be shared with everyone. Hashtags are also very popular neon signs, which makes it look funky in photos, but also remind guests to add a personal hashtag so that all photos can load together on a page.
Set the Mood with Custom Neon Signs
Creating the perfect mood for the wedding day is essential for a couple that have a particular theme in mind, but it is also a very important thing to consider for your guests to have a great time as well. Many people normally associate neon signs with bright retro themes, which they naturally are perfect for, but many miss out on the chance to really change things up and use neon lights to create a different mood and atmosphere are the even unfolds.
White or soft colored neon lights combined with soft sheer fabrics and flower arrangements can instantly give a classic dreamy romantic look, and as the day turns into night, the light will become a more central décor piece that can light a setting without the need or extra lighting.
Be Playful with Purpose
Label areas around the venue to add visual interest, a unique decorative touch, but also to let guests know where everything is located. Just like a bar neon sign lets you know the establishment is open for business, the venue bar area can also be labeled simply as “Bar” or “Cheers” to show guests where they can get a refreshment.
Other ideas for venue and party labels are:
Create a set of fun matching signs for all of the different areas as a way to entertain, but also show what is available throughout the day and night. A neon sign can also be used to direct everyone from one location to another, with a simple arrow or sign that says “This Way”. These signs are perfect for showing directions, but also illuminating the path so that guests can safely walk to the next venue location.
More than just bright eye-catching signs for businesses to attract customers, neon signs are versatile lighting options that are very functional, unique, and have multi-uses for events as important as a wedding. The variation of designs, colors and sized available today make them a simple and effective option to create a truly memorable event, no matter what kind of look an feel the setting is meant to be.
